Sin Fronteras is a limited nonfiction podcast hosted by Fat Tony as he traces the history of William Ellis, a black man born into slavery who later passed for Mexican and became a millionaire con artist and entrepeneur. Alongside narrated field recordings of his travels through corners of Mexico, Texas, California and New York, Tony fields conversations with historians, Ellis’s descendants, and a group of Black and Latinx voices to make meaning of this history as it relates to his own life story as a DIY artist and raconteur.
